The University of Hull's Scarborough Campus hosts the Centre for Internet Computing, the UK's first centre specifically devoted to Internet applications of computer science
In addition, Selby College has been one of the first to be identified as a Centre of Vocational Excellence for ICT by UK Government, and Darlington College at Catterick is now very firmly positioned as the UK's most advanced computer-based learning centre.
