This cluster is characterised by businesses and individuals using Digital Information and Communication technologies. An independent unit set up by partners across York and North Yorkshire to develop a joint approach to economic strategy encapsulated in the Sub Regional Investment Plan process. It also seeks to coordinate external funding into the sub region from sources such as the European Union and Yorkshire forward. It has set up a partnership structure to lead on this work. It also seeks to coordinate research and its dissemination.
