  • The Lyons Review

    In 2004 Sir Michael Lyons conducted an independent study for The Chancellor and The Deputy Prime Minister into the potential of relocating a number of Public Sector activities out from London and the South East to other areas around the UK. The report stated that around 20,000 jobs could be relocated resulting in approximately £2 billion of savings over 15 years.
