Being an Ambassador
North Yorkshire Ambassadors is an initiative aimed at driving awareness, interest and investment into York and North Yorkshire.
For this programme york-england.com have brought together a selection of the most prominent names in business across the area to promote York and North Yorkshire as a location for investment to a wider geographic business audience.
By pooling together the passion of our Ambassadors for the local area we can spread our message to their business connections across the UK, Europe and Worldwide throughout their working day. What better way to promote the county than through personal endorsements from the people who have directly benefited from what North Yorkshire has to offer!
An Ambassador should:
- Be proud of the area in which you work and live.
- Be vocal about your experiences.
- Let it be known that you are an Ambassador.
- Involve others – you don’t need to be an Ambassador in isolation, engage your colleagues and your whole organisation in the programme.
- Think of us in your organisation’s activities - at conferences, events and seminars take along or ask your colleagues to take along some of our brochures to inform the people they meet of the great location in which you run your business.
- Tell us of your ‘Ambassadorial’ activities - we can use your experiences to encourage and guide other Ambassadors.
