First Independent Relocation and Property-Find Service Launched in Ripon
Based in premises opposite Ripon Cathedral, this new, two woman company began trading at the beginning of April and business is already brisk. Using local press advertising and a link to the national residential lettings and relocation website specialist 'Rightmove.co.uk', enquiries have been flooding in and they have already received requests to both find and manage properties in Ripon and beyond.
Earlier this year Jayne and Julie called on york-england.com, the inward investment agency for York and North Yorkshire, to help them find business premises. Referred to them through Harrogate Business Services, york-england.com has offered Jayne and Julie business advice over recent months, providing them with details about a wide range of marketing and business seminars that they plan to attend in the near future.
Jayne and Julie, who previously worked together in Ripon, decided to establish Lets-Move.net earlier this year when they saw a gap in the market. Julie commented: "We could see that there was a growing demand for people, particularly from outside of the area, wanting to buy second homes here, predominantly for pension investments. Many were travelling up on a weekend and trying to find their ideal property within 48hrs, and then going away disappointed as immediate viewings were not always possible, or it was taking them longer than they anticipated to find just what they wanted.
By using our service, clients can contact us in advance, and we can do all the groundwork for them, including researching the local market and arranging inspection visits. We can also manage the buying process for them, and once it has been bought then look after the letting of that property in the future and organise and supervise any renovation they may need."
