Cutting Edge Software Company Moves to Selby

Phosys, a cutting-edge photography software company, has chosen Brackenholme Business Park near Selby as the location for its new offices, a move expected to generate three new jobs in the area. After considering a number of options the company decided on Brackenholme Business Park as its preferred location for expansion, thanks to the Park’s winning combination of an idyllic rural setting, excellent road transport links and competitively priced high quality office space.

Phosys, originally based in York, has developed a revolutionary new system which allows photographers to upload their images and have them ready for purchase on their website within minutes of them being taken.  They also provide high quality websites designed to help photographers and other businesses market their work effectively online.  Phosys’s relocation to the Selby area will complement a growing number of high-tech companies which have chosen to make the District their home in recent years.

york-england.com, the dynamic business organisation set up to attract inward investment to York and North Yorkshire, helped Phosys find the right premises for their expansion.  york-england.com works together with Selby District Council to promote the District and put the area more firmly on the map for investors.

Phosys’s new home, Brackenholme Business Park comprises 12 business suites in sympathetically converted farm buildings, surrounded by landscaped gardens and green fields.   Just two miles from the M62 Motorway it has excellent links to Selby, York and Leeds and provides a full range of business support services.  Phosys joins a number of high-tech companies already on the Park including Aaland Ltd, a leading provider of computer services, New Wave Learning, which specialises in training and knowledge management solutions, Efamol, a global leader in essential fatty acid supplements and Tokoda, a tailor-made technology solutions provider.
