York Voted 2nd Best Investment Location in Britain
Research conducted by Knight Frank for The Sunday Times has listed York as the 2nd best place to buy property in the whole of Britain. The research took into account a range of factors including; the affordability of property, local wage rates, unemployment levels, population growth and the skill levels of the local population; and concluded that York was a front runner in what they consider to be the most recession-proof towns in Britain.
