Yorkshire Business Market is a FULL HOUSE!

All the display space has now been booked at the new Yorkshire Business Market on Monday 28th April 2008 at Pavilions of Harrogate, on the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate.  Over 150 businesses from across the region have taken space to display a wide range of products and services to other local businesses.  The emphasis is now on encouraging visitors to pre-register for a fast check-in.

Organised by Harrogate Chamber of Trade & Commerce, this is a very cost-effective networking and promotion opportunity which is ideal for any business owners or managers looking for new ideas, new customers and new suppliers within the region.

The Chamber’s Chief Executive Brian Dunsby said “The third Business Market in May 2007 was a resounding success with over 100 companies exhibiting in two rooms and almost 1,000 business visitors attending.  This year we will have over 150 companies booked in four rooms and we expect up to 2,000 visitors, due to the much wider promotion across Yorkshire.”

The scope of this year’s Business Market has been expanded to encompass the whole of Yorkshire, with members of 20 local Chambers or Business Associations and 30 Professional Institutes or Societies being sent free invitations.  FREE Admission Tickets are also being inserted in all copies of the Leeds Chamber LBU Magazine, the Business Link Magazine and Recruit Yorkshire Magazine - in total 23,000 circulation.

The Yorkshire Business Market is being sponsored by the Learning & Skills Council Train-to-Gain programme and also by the new Business Link Yorkshire which commenced operations on 1st April 2008.  The event is featured prominently on the leading local business web sites, including Business Link, Yorkshire Forward, Leeds Chamber, Doncaster Chamber, Harrogate Today, Harrogate Council, Harrogate Tourism, Pavilions of Harrogate, etc.  The Market has recently been advertised in a direct mailing to 7,500 businesses across the whole of Harrogate District and the nearby towns.

The event is being promoted extensively each month in Ackrill Media Group’s Business Pink and in a specially enlarged 8 page feature supplement on 18th April in all the Ackrill Media Group Newspapers, with a readership over 100,000 across the whole of Harrogate District and adjoining areas such as Wetherby, Tadcaster and Thirsk.   Similar promotion is planned in the Yorkshire Post with a feature supplement on 22nd April.  Both Supplements offer discounted advertising to all exhibitors and members.
