Businesswomen from Scarborough converged on Beiderbecke's Hotel for the town's first event by Forward Ladies.
The inaugural Scarborough meeting welcomed 32 women from in and around the popular coastal town including Whitby and York with a message of support and professionalism.
Etta Cohen, founder of Forward Ladies, said: "Forward Ladies brings together like-minded businesswomen in a professional and supportive environment to offer help and advice to allow them to do business locally, nationally and internationally.
"With the European Enterprise Awards recognising Scarborough as the most enterprising place in the UK the timing is perfect for us to offer our unique programme and support network to the town's female business community."
