Colburn Business Park on target

Wednesday 7th October 2009

Businesses have snapped up units at Colburn Business Park’s Target@ Colburn development.

In fact, business has been so brisk that only one unit remains unoccupied at the development, based in Catterick Garrison, proving that many North Yorkshire business are coping with the recession.

Target@ Colburn includes six light industrial and warehouse units which have been created by CFK Developments of Wetherby. The latest tenant to move in is JCL Enterprises, an aluminium fabrication company which has moved from Brompton-on-Swale.

Sanderson Weatherall and Ryden acted on behalf of CFK. Jonathan Simpson is an associate at Sanderson, and letting agent for the units. He said five of the six spaces had been sold or let in just three months.

“One of the great things about this site is that there is room for expansion,” he said. “If firms which move in need to grow, there will be room to do so as the scheme has further offices, light industry and other uses.”

There is currently a further seven acres of land available for development.
