york-england helps ale get mobile

york-england.com has helped another business to get up and running with new premises near York.

Tony Smith set up mobile cask ale firm Ernest & Lawrence Ltd (Cask Ale Bars) after selling his previous business more than a year ago. Having taken some time off he decided to set up a new company and needed premises to house his fleet.

“I was in the process of setting up the company and stumbled across the york-england.com website,” he said.

“I found it really useful. I like the way I was able to use it as often as I liked and that all the information that I needed was available to me online, and the fact that it was free was a nice surprise.”

Tony says he will employ some 30 casual staff when his business is running at full tilt.

“We do the big motor shows and events like that that keep us very busy.”

And his advice for businesses looking to relocate is North Yorkshire is clear:

“Get on the website and have a look around,” he said. “There are new properties coming up all the time and plenty of information that a company would find useful.”

And the future looks good for his business.

He said: “We’ve just completed the lease and we move in on Monday, we’re just doing the decorating now. We’ve got six big shows in the summer and after that we’ll be marketing our services to businesses in the area. I’m really happy with the way things are going.”
